Annual general meeting

The annual general meeting was held on Saturday January 30, 1931, in Montreal. Len A. Peto was re-elected as president. Only new member as an officer was W. Buchannan of Toronto Maple Leafs. Representatives from these clubs attended the meeting: Ulster United, Toronto; Toronto Scottish; Hamilton Thistles; Toronto Transportation; C.N.R., Toronto; Toronto Maple Leafs; C.N.R., Montreal; C.P.R. Montreal; Montreal Carsteel; Blue Bonnets, Montreal and Verdun Park, Montreal.

Western Division – Review of the season

The season opened on Saturday May 2. In Hamilton the Thistles beat T.T.C. 2-1. Chambers and McMillan scored for Hamilton Thistles, goalscorer for T.T.C. was Houston. In Toronto on the same day Ulster United defeated Hamilton City 4-1. George Graham scored a hattrick, Moir scored one goal. Craig scored for Hamilton City.

Toronto Scottish opened their league season by beating Hamilton Thistles 4-0 at Conboy Park on Saturday May 9.
