1943 Toronto Senior Soccer League

Twenty teams entered the league for the 1943 season. The clubs were divided into two groups of ten teams.
The first group consisted of Toronto Irish, Mimico Beach, Lancashires, the newly-formed Toronto Slovak club, John Inglis Commercials, DeHavilands, and four service clubs. The service clubs were Manning Pool Pigeons, H.M.C.S. York Tars, M.D. 2 Depot and Newmarket.
Newmarket used 29 players in league games during the 1943 season and barely missed the play-offs.
The other group was Dominion Bridge, East End Canadians, John Inglis Ord., King Edward, Liptons, Mimico Beach, Research, Shipbuilders, Toronto Scottish and Ulster United.
Ulster United won this section. In 18 league games they won 11 and tied 7. Total goals 62 against 25.
