Great players: Jim Douglas

Midfielder. Born in Falkirk, Scotland on October 6, 1948. Jim started playing soccer at the age of seven.

Jim played in the National Soccer League from 1971 until 1973 for St. Catharines Heidelberg.

In 1974 Jim played in eleven league games for the Toronto Metros in the North American Soccer League. After his spell in the NASL Jim returned to St. Catharines Heidelberg.

In 1977 Jim played for First Portuguese in the National Soccer League.

He joined St. Catharines Roma for the 1978 National Soccer League season.

Jim was later a coach for the St. Catharines Roma Wolves.
