On Sunday June 25, 1950 the National Soccer League All-Stars defeated the touring Swedish team Jonkoping 3-1. A crowd of 5,500 watched the exhibition game.

Jonkoping had finished the 1949-50 season in second place in the final standings of the Swedish top division, the Allsvenskan.

The match was played at Exhibition Park in Toronto. Bo Karlsson of Jonkoping scored the first goal after 13 minutes of play. Jackie Butler scored for the NSL All-Stars on a penalty kick. The score at half-time was 1-1.

In the second half centre forward Alf Davis scored two goals to give the NSL All-Stars a 3-1 victory.

The referee was Ray Morgan and his linesmen were William Logan and Adny Mason.
