Humberto Vitach Gambaro was born on November 19, 1933 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The inside forward started his career with Corinthians in Brazil. In April 1961 Humberto joined Montreal Concordia in Canada.
As well as playing in the National Soccer League season the Concordia club were members of Bill Cox’s International Soccer League. The club finished the 1961 National Soccer League regular season in second place in the seven-team league.
Humberto also won the 1961 Canadian Challenge Trophy with Concordia. The club lifted the trophy after defeating Vancouver Firefighters 1-0 in the final.

I´m sorry to report the death on June 22,2020 – victim of Covid 19.
He left and took in his heart a very special affection for Canadians, he always spoke to me of his desire to return to Canadá, his second country of heart.
