Tom Wallace was born in Scotland. Tommy played professional soccer for Albion Rovers in Scotland. When he emigrated to Canada he joined Toronto club East End Canadians. He was known as a powerful wing forward.
On May 24, 1949, he was picked to play for the Ontario All Stars against Newcastle United. The English team won by an 8-2 score.
On May 10, 1950 Tommy played at outside right against Manchester United at C. N. E. Stadium in Toronto. United won the exhibition match 5-0.
Tommy won the National Soccer League championship with East End Canadians in 1952.
