Cecil Barlass Smith Harrison was born in Methil, Fife, Scotland on September 18, 1930. Cec’s father was a former player with Leith Atheltic. Cec started his career with the Buckhaven Star in the East Fife Juvenile League.

Cecil emigrated to Canada in March 1951 and settled in Hamilton, Ontario. In Hamilton he joined the local Westinghouse team that were members of the National Soccer League.

Playing at half-back Cec was often picked on representative sides that played against touring clubs. On May 19, 1954 he played against Glasgow Rangers in front of a crowd of 10,000 at Civic Stadium in Hamilton.

On May 21, 1955, Cec was picked as the centre forward for the Ontario All Stars against Huddersfield Town. The English side were on a tour of North America and won 3-1 at Varsity Stadium in Toronto.

Cec worked as a mechanical fitter and engineer in Hamilton. He passed away on December 28, 2020 in Hamilton, Ontario.
