Giovanni Bincoletto was born in 1925 in San Donà di Piave in Italy. Giovanni started his professional soccer career with Serie C club Associazione Calcio San Donà when World War II ended. He remained with A. C. San Donà until he emigrated to Canada in 1951.

In 1957 Cantalia won the regular season Eastern Division championship in the National Soccer League.
