8,000 soccer fans turned up at Maple Leaf Stadium in Toronto to watch the highlight of the 1935 season in Ontario, the match between the Eastern Canada All-Stars and the Scottish Football Association touring team.
The Scottish team recorded their 10th win on their tour by beating the hosts 6-0.
St. Johnstone outside right Alex Ferguson scored the first goal after 15 minutes of play.
Ten Minutes later David Wilson scored to make it 2-0. Ferguson scored his second goal of the match shortly before the break.
The half-time score was 3-0.
Six minutes into the second half Tommy Walker scored his second goal of the match.
Willie Miller and Peter Wilson also scored for the Scottish team.
Scottish goalkeeper Bill Stevenson was seldom put into action.
The final score was 6-0.
