On July 2, 1927 a picked team of the top soccer players in Ontario played against the touring Hakoah team from Vienna, Austria.
Eleven minutes into the game Moritz Häusler gave Hakoah the lead. Ten minutes later Maxmillian Gold increased Hakoah’s lead to 2-0 on a penalty.
The score at half-time was 2-0.
In the second half Wright scored on a corner kick from Condie. 80 minutes into the match George Graham scored on a penalty to even the score at 2-2 .
