Came to Canada in 1954 at the age of 12.

Attended George Harvey High School.

Started his top-level soccer career with Toronto Hungaria in the National Soccer League and the Toronto Italia reserves.

Played for Toronto Italia in the Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League in the 1963 and 1964 seasons.

Played for Toronto Azzuri in the National Soccer League in the 1965 season.
