Bio:
Signed for English First Division club Blackpool when he turned 17. Given a free transfer after the 1960-61 season.
Joined Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League club Hamilton Steelers before the start of the 1961 season.
Returned to England after the 1961 ECPSL season. Joined Stoke City on a months trial in December 1961. Signed for a further months trial in January 1962.
In February 1962 he joined Macclesfield Town on a months’ trial. Played for Macclesfield against Altrincham on 3 February 1962 in the Cheshire County League.
Dave returned to Canada and Hamilton Steelers for the 1962 Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League season.
He was inducted into the Hamilton Soccer Hall of Fame in 2019.
