Bio:
His parents were born in Pescara, Italy. Marco grew up in North York, Ontario.
Started his soccer career with Armourdale Soccer Club.
At the age of 16 he played for Cattolica Virtus in Florence, Italy. This was the same club that Italian World Cup legend Paolo Rossi started his career.
Marco then returned to Canada and played for Pineto Azzuri in the National Soccer League. He represented the NSL Selects.
No. 1 draft pick in the 1990 Canadian Soccer League draft when he was picked by Toronto Blizzard in January 1990.
Traded to Hamilton Steelers on 16 July 1991.
