Bio:
Came to Canada in 1949 together with his family. Known in Canada as Bill Hrycyn or often as Junior Hrycyn in soccer, as he was the youngest player on the Montreal Ukraina team.
Won the Canadian Soccer Championship with Montreal Ukraina when they defeated North Shore from British Columbia on Sunday September 22, 1957.
Came out of retirement to play for Montreal Ukraina in the 1966 Major Soccer League season.
Bill worked for CP Railways for many years.
He passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal on August 2, 2019.
