Bio:

Ronnie started his career with Arbroath Lads’ Club. Signed by Scottish First Division club Dundee in June 1958. After playing in eleven Scottish League games and scoring one goal, Ronnie was given a free transfer after the 1961-62 season.

In June 1962 Ronnie joined Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League club Hamilton Steelers. Returned to Scotland and signed for Heart of Midlothian in August 1962 as a full-time professional. Had his first training session with Hearts on August 7. Released by Hearts after the 1962-63 season.

Joined Cheltenham Town in August 1963. Was the leading scorer for the Robins in the 1963-1964 season. Struggled to hold down a starting place in the first team eleven in the 1964-1965 season. By the end of January Ronnie had made 16 reserve team appearances and scored nine goals, including two hattricks.

In February 1965 he was placed on the transfer list at hos own request, and signed for Gloucester City the same month.

Signed for Evesham United from Gloucester City in April 1966. After a spell with Cinderford, he signed for Bromsgrove Rovers in February 1967.
