Bio:
Gary grew up in North Bay, Ontario.
Joined the semi-professional National Soccer League club Sudbury Cyclones before the start of the 1980 season.
Played for the National Soccer League All-Stars in their exhibition game against league leaders First Portuguese in July 1980.
The Cyclones folded after the 1980 NSL season and Gary spent the 1981 season playing in local soccer in North Bay.
Signed a professional contract with North American Soccer League club Toronto Blizzard on March 1, 1982.
Played for Petro-Canada Soccer League club North Bay Dynamo in the 1986 season.
Played for Ottawa Intrepid in the Canadian Soccer League from 1988 until 1990.
