Bio:
Mark moved from London, England, to Scarborough, Ontario, with his family when he was two years old.
Started playing soccer at the age of five for Woburn Wolves in Scarborough.
Played for the Wexford Form Sport Under-14 team in the final round of the 1975 Canadian Club Soccer Championships.
Mark was a member of the Canadian National Youth Team from 1977 to 1980.
Attended Toronto Blizzard’s training camp before the start of the 1979 North American Soccer League season.
Traded from Major Indoor Soccer League club New York Arrows to Buffalo Stallions on 14 October 1981.
In the 1982 season he played for Toronto Italia in the National Soccer League.
He then played for New York Atlas in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League in the 1982-1983 season.
On 5 May 1983 he signed a one-year contract with Canadian Professional Soccer League club Edmonton Eagles.
