Maple Leaf was formed in 1967. In the 1971 season they were members of the Essex-Kent Soccer League. The Leafs won five of the six cups available to them in the 1971 season. They won the Firemen’s Cup, The Star Cup, The Carling Cup, the Association Cup and the Ontario Cup. However, they missed winning the Dominion Cup.
