Bio:
Jimmy was a product of the Metthil Boy’s Club in Fife. Joined Heart of Midltohian in June 1942.
Toured North America with Scotland in the summer of 1949.
In August 1953 Jimmy joined Kilmarnock. Played in two Scottish Cup finals for Kilmarnock, in 1957 and 1960 and in the Scottish League Cup final in 1961. In all Jimmy played in 315 matches for Kilmarnock.
In November 1960 he moved to St Mirren.
Jimmy joined Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League club Buffalo White Eagles in May 1962.
Joined Scottish Second Division club East Fife in November 1962. Joined Stranraer in December 1962. Joined Falkirk in January 1963. Retired from football in 1963.
Jimmy died on November 7, 2008 at his home in Cellardyke, Fife, Scotland.
