Bio:
Born in Sliema, Malta. Started his career playing soccer at high school in Lija. In 1948 he joined Lija Athletic in the Maltese Third Division. Charlie then joined Birkirkara Celtic.
Charlie moved to First Division club Rabat FC in 1951. He played in 114 competitive matches for Rabat and scored 24 goals.
He emigrated to Canada in April 1959. Played for Toronto Italia in the National Soccer League in the 1959 and 1960 seasons.
Started the 1962 season with Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League club Buffalo White Eagles.
Later became a referee in the National Soccer League.
