Allan Evans has had an illustrious career in Scotland and England; joining the Dunfermline Athletic Club in 1972 and playing 109 games in the Scottish Premier
Division. Allan joined the Aston Villa club in 1977 and played with Villa for eleven seasons. In over 460 appearances Allan scored 52 goals.
In 1981 Aston Villa captured the First Division crown in England; Allan anchored the Aston Villa defence when they won the 1981 FA Charity Shield, the 1982 European Championship and the 1983 European Super Cup.
Allan Evans was on the Scottish Youth International side and has four Scottish cups including participation with the Scottish side at the 1982 World Club in Spain.
Allan’s last club was Leicester City of the English Second Division.
