Bio:
Gerry started his professional career with Clyde in the Scottish League.
In the summer of 1977 he was loaned out to National Soccer League club Windsor Stars. He made his debut for the Stars in a 4-0 win over Macedonia on 10 June 1977. Scored ten goals during the 1977 NSL season.
In the 1977-1978 season Gerry played in 20 league matches and three goals for Clyde in the Scottish First Division.
Before the start of the 1978 National Soccer League season he was loaned out to Toronto Italia.
He then continued his career in Scottish League soccer.
In May 1990 Gerry returned to Canada and joined Canadian Soccer League club Victoria Vistas.
