Bio:

Played for Cardiff Corinthians in the Welsh League First Division. A member of the British Universities representative team that toured Belgium and Japan in 1968-1969.

Earned a bachelor of arts degree at Cambridge University in England in 1969. Completed his masters’ degree at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1970.

Then worked on a doctorate in English literature at University of Toronto.

Played with St. Andrew’s Scarborough United in the Toronto & District Soccer League in the 1971 season.

Signed a professional contract with North American Soccer League club Toronto Metros in March 1972. 24 years old at the time.

Before the start of the 1975 NASL season Toronto Metros merged with NSL club Toronto Croatia to form Toronto Metros-Croatia. In June 1975 Tim resigned from the Metros-Croatia team.

Later in June 1975 Tim joined National Soccer League club Toronto Homer. The Greek-sponsored club finished the season in third place in the final standings in the 1975 NSL season, but folded after the season due to financial difficulties.

Joined National Soccer League club Toronto Italia before the start of the 1976 season. Italia won the 1976 NSL regular season league championship.
