Club history

The Hungaria Sport Club was formed in Toronto in 1949.

In 1951 they won the Toronto Major League championship.

1952

In 1952 they joined the National Soccer League.

1974

1975

The club ran into financial difficulties and suspended operations after the 1975 season.

1976

Did not operate

1977

After a one-year leave of absence they were replaced in the National Soccer League by Mississauga Hungaria in 1977.

1986

In 1986 they were members of the Toronto & District League Division II.

1987

The Toronto Hungaria Old-Boys team toured Hungary in 1987. In Hungary they played against the Old-Boys teams of Hungarian clubs Diósgyőri VTK and Vasas. They also played against a Hungarian Journalists’ National Old-Boys Team.

At the end of the 1980’s the club changed its name to Toronto Hungaria Ferencvaros T.C.

In 1991 they were members of the Toronto & District League
