HAMILTON WESTINGHOUSE

The Westinghouse Soccer Club was formed in 1948 as the works team of the Westinghouse company in Hamilton, Ontario. An earlier version of the club won the 1920 Connaught Cup.

The new club joined the National Soccer League before the start of the 1948 season. Hamilton Westinghouse won the western section of the NSL in its first year.

In 1949 Westinghouse reached the Canadian Challenge Cup finals. North Shore United won the finals.

The club won the 1949 Lord Atholstan Cup. The finals were played in Montreal in September 1950. Westinghouse defeated Canadair Falcons 4-3 in the two-game total-goals series.

Won the Hamilton Spectator Cup in 1955.

Hamilton Westinghouse dropped out of the NSL after the 1955 season.
