Review of the season
Joe Piccininni was re-elected as president of the National Soccer League.
The league operated two divisions, a First Division and a Second Division.
Each club was restricted to a maximum of five imports from other countries.
Before the season started the Hamilton City franchise was transferred to Welland for a nominal price. The new club was called Welland Lions Croatia.
Toronto Italia won the league championship.
First Portuguese defeated Toronto Italia in the playoff championship.
