Bio:

Moved to Montreal, Quebec, from Italy with his family in 1950.

First made his mark in soccer with Y.C.A.P. in the Montreal City Juvenile League in the 1963 season. Then moved up to senior soccer in the Montreal Soccer League in the 1964 season.

Selected for the Quebec National Soccer League All-Stars and voted as goalkeeper of the year in the QNSL in the 1965 season.

Joined Eastern Canada Professional Soccer League club Montreal Inter in April 1966 on an amateur contract. Mostly a back-up goalkeeper for Inter and continued to play for Superga. Voted as the Most Valuable Player in the Quebec National Soccer League in the 1966 season.

In 1967 he played In the Pan-American Games for Canada, and in 1967 in the World Cup qualifiers for Canada.

In 1967 he was voted the most valuable player in Montreal (SUPERGA)). He played for
them for 3 years. In each of these 3 years he won the Goalie Trophy. Peter had the least amount of goals scored against him in the Montreal League.

Signed for Pacific Coast Soccer League club Burnaby Villa on Wednesday November 8, 1967.

Joined Vancouver Columbus in 1968. While with Columbus won the Canadian Challenge Trophy in 1969, 1977 and 1978. Also won the Pacific Coast Soccer League championship in 1968-69, 1969-70 and 1970-71 seasons. Had a 526 minutes shutout skein that ended on Sunday November 1969 against Victoria.

Signed for North American Soccer League club Vancouver Whitecaps in January 1975 on a one-year contract. This would eventually lead to him losing the chance to play for Canada’s Olympic team in the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games. He was at the time playing for North Shore in the British Columbia Soccer League and helped them win the First Division championship.

Made his debut for Vancouver Whitecaps in the 1975 North American Soccer League indoor tournament in February 1975. Shared the goalkeeping duties in the 1975 NASL regular season with another player from Vancouver local soccer, Greg Weber.

Reinstated as an amateur and spent the 1975-1976 season with Vancouver Italian-Canadians in the B.C. Soccer League. Returned to Vancouver Columbus before the start of the 1977-1978 season.
