Inside left Osvaldo de Brasi was born on June 2, 1937 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Osvaldo played for San Lorenzo de Almagro in the Argentinian league in the 1958 season. He later played with Independiente Santa Fè in Colombia.
In 1959 Osvaldo joined National Soccer League club Montreal Canadian Alouettes. He helped the club win the Canadian Challenge Trophy in 1959.
The Alouettes changed its name to Montreal Concordia before the start of the 1960 season. The club finished third in the National Soccer League that season.
In 1961 and 1962 Osvaldo won the Colombian league championship with Millonarios. In 1962 he played with Millonarios in the Copa Libertadores.
Osvaldo later played for Universidad de Chile.
